I hate wispr flow

1/ I paid for Wispr Flow for half a year.

Today I'm launching the thing that replaced it.

2/ The thing that killed it for me: I talk in English. I get back random other language. A dictation tool that guesses my language wrong — and I'm paying for this.

3/ And when OpenAI is down, Wispr is down, and I just sit there. No way to switch the model. No offline. Voice-to-text without internet is a solved problem in 2026, but not for them apparently.

4/ But honestly the biggest problem — I wanted friendly voice-to-text. They built "AI that does everything for you." I don't need everything. I need my words, as text, fast, in the language I said them.

5/ So I built VTT. Voice-to-text that is just voice-to-text. Pick any model or provider, switch when one is slow. Works offline.
