Hi everyone, I'm Felipe. This is my first app and post ever in product hunt. A couple of years ago I wanted to start investing in real estate. Maybe a small rental. Maybe a flip. I didn't really knew just that I wanted in. What I found instead was a mess and very confusing. YouTube videos that explained "cap rate" five different ways. Reddit threads that contradicted each other. Friends-of-friends who swore by BRRRR but couldn't tell me what DSCR meant. Spreadsheets people downloaded from someone who downloaded it from someone else, with formulas nobody fully understood. And then, the gurus. Two thousand dollars for a course. Five thousand for the "advanced" one. I bought one. It was the same YouTube content with a worse haircut. I kept getting stuck in the same place. I had a property I was looking at, I had some money saved, and I had no idea if the deal in front of me was good, bad, or going to ruin me. The math was supposed to tell me. The math was a wall. So I started building a tool for myself. Just to answer one question fast: is this deal trash or not. That tool turned into Vricko. I'm not here to pitch it today, there's screenshots above for that. I just wanted to tell you why it exists. If you've ever felt that same wall, or you're trying to start in real estate and don't know where to begin, I'd really love to hear from you in the comments. That's who I built it for. Solo founder, from Colombia, US based, building for US investors. Thanks for taking the time to look at my app.

A few days in, and I wanted to share what I've learned for any other solo founder lurking here.

The hardest part wasn't building the app. It was realizing that "build it and they will come" is a lie. I shipped, I posted here, and the silence afterward taught me more than any tutorial did.

What I'm seeing: people are curious, they download, they open it once and then I lose them. The product works. The math is right. But I was asking strangers to sign up before I'd earned a single second of their trust. That's on me, not on them.

So I'm going back to the one thing that started this: answering "is this deal trash or not" in 10 seconds, with zero friction. No wall. No signup before value. Just the answer first.

If you've launched something and felt that quiet after the spike you're not alone. And if you have feedback on what made you bounce, I genuinely want to hear it.
