We built Voyada because the cognitive overload of trip planning is a time-stealer, a vibe killer, and a relationship-complicator. We saw and understood that travel is rarely a solo decision, yet most tools plan for one person alone. We designed the Voyada AI tool to be a true end-to-end AI travel agent, a conversational AI that plans and books flights, hotels, cars, and local guides in one chat, with group planning built in from day one.
Our approach and process changed significantly during the build. Initially, we wanted to build Voyada as a proprietary, in-house conversational AI tool to serve one native platform and optimize one direct inventory discovery. We also favoured a single gated consumer app. Two things changed our minds. First, industry partners we approached asked to build on top of Voyada directly — so we opened it up as a B2B platform too, letting travel businesses manage bookings and reach customers through us. Secondly, our internal testing revealed that gating the conversational AI behind a membership fee created a massive barrier to entry, severely limiting user adoption, so we launched it for free to consumers.
Today, Voyada is both a free AI travel assistant for travellers and a booking infrastructure layer for travel businesses. Voyada is a differentiated product that connects traveller intent directly to fragmented inventory, drastically increasing booking conversion rates and enabling highly targeted, data-driven marketing for suppliers. Voyada eliminates the friction of multiple bookings by allowing users to secure flights, hotels, and local ground services in a single, consolidated order. Finally, unlike asset-light AI wrappers, Voyada is built on top of a vetted, deeply integrated network of global travel suppliers and local operators.
