VocaTrace - Trace to Remember - Learn languages by writing, not tapping

by
VocaTrace helps you learn Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Thai vocabulary by tracing words instead of tapping buttons. Writing builds real muscle memory, making words easier to remember. Hear each word as you trace, review what you learned, and practice calmly offline - no streaks, no pressure. A perfect supplement to Duolingo-style apps.

Hi everyone! I’m the solo maker behind VocaTrace. I’ve been learning Thai and Korean myself, and although language apps helped me recognize words, I still needed pen-and-paper practice to truly grasp them and write them out. VocaTrace exists to bring that writing practice into a simple and effective digital experience: you can trace words with your finger or a stylus and hear them spoken out loud to reinforce what you’re learning. I’d love your feedback on: - Does tracing help you remember words better? - Would you use this alongside apps like Duolingo? - What language should I add next? Thanks for checking it out - happy to answer any questions!
