I began writing my movie reviews (follow me at thereelburke on Facebook or reallyreelblog.com) with plan to eventually make the jump to a full video platform on YouTube. Stardust allows me a platform that is easily accessible and user-friendly for content creators and consumers alike.

There are so many films and shows, good and bad, Stardust allows users to experience the opinions of other regular people that people as well and super-fans and actual critic and help them determine if a film or show is worth their time.

I was introduced to Stardust 2 months ago and I love it so much that I've tabled my plans to move to YouTube for the foreseeable future. There's definitely a community people with for movies and TV but varying viewpoints. Stardust gives us all a place to meet and discuss. Be sure to check out Stardust and FOLLOW me at: thereelburke

Pros:

Allows quick access to multiple POVs on a given TV Show or Film in an easily digestible medium.

Cons:

The app is great and user friendly but the inclusion of a DM or reply, text or video, would be a great addition.

Pros:

Great community app for film fans to share reviews. Easy, accessible, fun and informative. A must for film geeks anywhere!

30 seconds is sometimes not enough..would be good to have an option for slightly longer...for verbose wafflers like

Surprised IMDb never made something like this. It's very slick. I would love the ability to comment on reactions.

I love that I can see reviews from friends and be able to post reviews myself. I check reviews on IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes, but I prefer to hear from people that I know I can trust their judgement. I have heard many stories of people who were persuaded one way or another about a movie based on their friends’ reviews on Stardust. I do have a couple of suggestions. I would like to see a more streamlined way to reply to posts. Also, I think video games would be a cool addition. Great job guys!

Pros:

See movie/TV reviews from friends and other people with similar interests

Great way to learn about movies that I have not heard of

Cons:

None that I can think of

Nice product. I'm a little confused about some of the UI/UX in search. On the homepage, the tile layout means I can select which reaction I want to watch. When I went to search for GOT, I didn't see an obvious way to SKIP past a reaction, which was pretty frustrating. I'm not much of a "poster", but once there are more reactions I'd probably use this app semi-regularly.

@jeremyz123 Thanks for your feedback, Jeremy! When you play reactions to a piece of media after you Search, all reactions will play in sequence. You are able to skip forward and backward between reactions here by tapping the right and left sides of the screen, respectively. Our original idea was that people would like to watch multiple reactions in a row, but we are seeing that watching single reactions from the Home Screen is the most popular way people watch content in the app. What are your thoughts on being able to watch single reactions after you search, too?
Jeremy Zykorie
@christine_holland Ah, now I see. That wasn't that apparent. I was trying to swipe to no luck. I did tap on the screen, but in the middle. I like the tile layout on the homescreen, and would add that to the results when you search. Even with the tap to fast forward, i just quickly went to the last GOT episode, and there's one guy who posted 5 reactions in a row... so maybe i just want to skip past him altogether.
