Embrace - Crashlytics + Fullstory on steroids

Embrace helps mobile devs find every error, recreate every session on command, and fix bugs in minutes. Think of those freezes during startup, broken purchases & unsolved crashes. Wish, Goat & OkCupid solve all of these with Embrace and debug so much faster.

Love the comprehensive functionality out of the gate - nicely done! Historically, I've always cobbled together all of this functionality from a few different tools - having them all in one place is fantastic.

@eric_futoran how does it compare with FullStory? I didn't get it.

@matheusbaumgart Hey! Since pure video on mobile is practically banned by Apple and shunned by Google, we are as close as you can get. Like FS, we track many of the user interactions and show them in a time-based + visual way. You can also look up and session and recreate them. Unlike FS, we show all the technical details (which are much more critical on mobile) along with the user interactions. We also take screenshots when we recognize an issue or error, or the developer can take screenshots when they decide to. (Plus video impacts the user experience as its technically intensive for the device to run.) does that make sense?

@eric_futoran It does, thank you for the context and information. All the best.

Current user who has deployed Embrace in a production release for several weeks, targeting ~2M users in the US on both iOS and Android platforms Embrace provides a very helpful and responsive team to work with. The platform itself has many advantages over Firebase Crashlytics and we can get user behavior in much more detail with Embrace. The tool integrates very well into our QA process There are still several areas that the platform is continuing to develop, including improving dashboard design, easing SDK integration, and logging errors with custom stacktraces, but Embrace provides a solid start that is already giving us insight on how to improve our user experience

@teddy_rodriguez You made my day, seriously. Thanks Teddy!

@teddy_rodriguez Thanks for the feedback! We're definitely wanting to improve the dashboard design and the integration flow!

It would be really awesome to have something similar to web apps especially with memory usage. Congrats @eric_futoran and the team!

I really love the focus on making mobile development better - it's so hard to figure out what's going on with end user devices, so I'm looking forward to using this! Now please do the same for desktop apps :)

We've been using Embrace in Timehop for the past few months and the insight it has provided into the user experience has been invaluable in helping us troubleshoot pain points for our users in the app; not to mention the support has been top notch! Very excited to see all the new features that will be added as the Embrace team grows!
