Setting high prices is fascinating part of human psychology. If you have no pressure to drop the price overtime and no direct competition emerges, people will subconsciously accept the price and start buying it out of status related purposes.
That would catch all the dust from the room pretty quick. No way you can clean it without breaking the thing.

Give this to me now. I see it as a piece of art. I appreciate that it exists and despite the cost, I would love to have it. Paintings, sculpture, mixed-media heaps of trash arranged as art sell for millions. It's costs what it costs. It will be worth it to the person who can afford it and appreciate it.
