Hey Product Hunt πŸ‘‹

Johan here, founder from GΓΆteborg. We built Vikkla because my personal job search experience last year. It was an absolute mess.

I had 47 bookmarks of jobs I wanted to apply to. 20 versions of my CV sent to different jobs. My Notes app entry reminding me to follow up with a company I'd already applied to twice without remembering.

I looked for a tool that just... organized all of this. Teal and Huntr exist, but they're built for the US market β€” they don't quite fit Swedish CV conventions, and they're expensive for what I wanted to use it for.

Therefore Vikkla came into existence.

What it does:

  • Save jobs from any site (LinkedIn, company pages, job boards) via Chrome extension or by pasting a URL. Vikkla extracts title, company, deadline, requirements automatically.

  • Organize them in a kanban: Saved β†’ To apply β†’ Applied β†’ Interview β†’ Offer. Drag between columns. See your whole search in one view.

  • Log your applications β€” which CV version you sent, to whom, when. Never again "which version was that?".

  • Analyse jobs, CVs and cover letters with AI, optimized for ATS. Swedish and English to help you create tailored resumes for each job.

  • Get reminders to follow up.

Pricing: 59 SEK / ~$6 / ~Β£5 per month. 14 days free trial, no card required.

Market focus: Sweden first, then UK and other English-speaking markets. I've kept the pricing deliberately low β€” this is a tool you use for 3-6 months while job hunting, then you're done. Paying $20/mo for that felt wrong.

Happy to answer any questions. Especially interested in feedback from:

  • Anyone currently job searching (what's missing?)

  • Career coaches (would your clients use this?)

  • Other solo founders building for small markets (how do you think about international expansion?)

Thanks for checking it out πŸ™
