Video Curl - Stop opening videos one by one. Cull your library fast.

by
You've got a folder full of dashcam clips, drone footage, or downloaded channels you never sorted. Opening each one in VLC is not a workflow. Video Cull is. Point it at a folder. Get thumbnail strips for every video. Blaze through keep/delete decisions with just your keyboard. When thumbnails aren't enough, scrub through it right in the app. No cloud. No account. No subscription. Nothing permanently deleted until you confirm. Progress is saved next to your media - portable across machines.

I built this because I had 200GB of dashcam footage sitting on a drive and no good way to go through it. Every tool I found was either overkill (full media managers with libraries and catalogues) or too basic (just a file browser). Nothing was built around the actual task: open video, make a call, move on, repeat - fast. So I built Video Cull for myself. Thumbnail strips so you don't have to open anything. Keyboard shortcuts so you never touch the mouse. Recycle Bin integration so you can't accidentally nuke something important. The thing I'm most proud of is how it handles progress - decisions are cached in a JSON file right next to your media. Plug the drive into another machine and everything is still there. No database, no cloud sync, no account. It just works. Still early - no code signing yet, so Windows will warn you on first launch. Worth clicking through. Would love to hear from anyone sorting dashcam footage, drone clips, or just years of accumulated video they never got around to culling. That's exactly who this is for.
