If you use an Android phone with a Mac, how do you move files between them?

This combination seems to fall through every crack. Phone Link is Windows-only, KDE Connect assumes a Linux desktop, and AirDrop assumes you bought an iPhone.

For years my answer was genuinely just emailing files to myself, or a USB cable when the file was too big. Eventually I got annoyed enough to build something for it — Vianta pairs the two devices over local Wi-Fi so files, clipboard and notifications move directly between them, no cloud in the middle. It's launching here soon.

But I'm curious whether everyone else has quietly solved this some smarter way I missed. Cloud folder that syncs both ways? Telegram saved messages? Something self-hosted?

I keep going back and forth on: beyond file transfer, what's the thing you'd actually want between an Android phone and a Mac? I built clipboard sync and notification mirroring because I wanted them, but I'm one person with one workflow.
