How do you find a file when you can't remember its name?

I'm building Vextore, and the idea came from a problem I kept running into: I could remember exactly what was inside a file, but not what I named it.

For example, I'd remember a clip of a car drifting through the desert, but have no idea it was called ManyClips.mov

So I'd either scroll through folders until I recognized it, or just give up and download it again.

I'm curious how other people deal with this:

Vextore - Find files and moments by describing what you remember

Describe what you remember, like “the clip where the car drifts past,” and Vextore finds it. It searches inside photos, videos, audio, and documents, including the exact moment in a video or audio file. Search with text or an image and see results as you type. Choose fully local search so your files never leave your device, or cloud search for lower-powered machines. Available on Windows, macOS, and Linux with a free tier.
