Are resumes becoming less useful now that AI can write them?
I’m launching Vetano soon, and this is the question that pushed me to build it:
If AI can help anyone write a polished resume, how should employers know who can actually do the work?
Resumes still have a place, but they often do not show communication, personality, urgency, skill, or real ability. That is especially true in restaurants, trades, haircare, retail, hospitality, and other hands-on roles.
Vetano is built around a simple idea: hiring should start with proof.
Talent can create ID-verified profiles with intro videos and proof-of-skill videos, and employers can see real people and real work before deciding who to interview.
Curious what this community thinks:
Are resumes becoming less useful?
Would you trust short proof-of-skill videos before an interview?
What would make this more useful for employers?
