Hey everyone 👋 Before this, I built a couple of other apps that went nowhere, no traction, no customers, just silence. I realized I never checked whether the idea made sense before building it. With vibe coding making it so easy to ship something in a weekend, that problem is only getting worse. More people are building more things without checking if someone already tried it and why it failed. So I built the thing I wished existed. Venture Trail is a researched archive of 2,700+ real startups, funded, bootstrapped, acquired, shut down. A lot of the company research and postmortems I've dug into and written up myself, with real cited sources, not scraped one-liners. Search your idea, see the closest precedents, and get a grounded verdict before you build.
