Hi everyone!
I've been working on Vendure for 3 years now, and I'm incredibly excited to release the first stable version today!
I started the project for my own needs - my family business needed a new e-commerce platform and I was not satisfied with what was out there. I saw an opportunity to create a truly forward-thinking, developer-first framework. One that *I* would love to work with.
In the past year or so, a developer community has grown around Vendure, and it is now used successfully in production in projects large and small, including a national supermarket chain and a Europe-wide marketplace.
I wrote more extensively on this in the release blog post: https://www.vendure.io/blog/2021...
The code is all MIT licensed and available on GitHub: https://github.com/vendure-ecomm...
Thanks for checking it out, and I'm happy to answer any questions!

It would be great to see the storefronts for different technologies updated though 😁
@dusko_jordanovski Thank you Dusko! Yes, that tech stack is something that has been really lacking in this space. I'm very grateful to the wonderful projects I was able to build on top of - NestJS, TypeORM, Apollo Server etc.

Awesome OSS project! Built a shop with it and running smoothly :)
Congratulations, great to see the first official stable version!
I've been following Vendure for a while now but never had the time to try it out myself, this is gonna be great! 🥳
Cheers on the milestone, I'll make sure that our business partners are aware & can add Vendure to the slate of solutions available for merchants #OSSRocks
@benmarks Thanks Ben! I'm very encouraged by the real spirit of collaboration I've experienced in my direct interactions with my "competitors" - Sylius, Saleor and now Shopware. I strongly believe that there is space (and need) for many solutions to cater to the widely varying business, technical & org needs of the merchants out there.
