Veleiras - No one should be forgotten

Hey everyone, We built Veleiras because of something most people don't talk about — the fear of being forgotten. More people than ever live alone. Die alone. Get buried in a bureaucratic process where their name becomes a line in a database. Their stories, their little quirks, the way they laughed — gone. Not because nobody cared, but because there was nowhere to keep it alive. Veleiras is a digital memorial. A quiet, permanent space where someone's name still matters. Where a photo, a quote, a candle lit by a stranger on the other side of the world says: you existed, and that mattered. It's not a social network. There's no feed, no likes, no algorithm. Just a flame that keeps burning. We designed it for the living too, because creating a memorial is an act of love, and visiting one is an act of remembrance. Both heal.
