VARIA Carbon - AI-powered SOC prediction from satellite data.No lab needed.

by
Most farmers can't afford expensive soil lab tests ($30-50/ha). VARIA Carbon predicts Soil Organic Carbon (SOC%) using 5 inputs: NDVI, precipitation, temperature, elevation, and clay. Trained on real soil samples from EU LUCAS database. Accuracy: R²=0.78. Output: SOC% + carbon credits potential (tons CO₂/ha). Full code with one-time license ($499). Deploys via Docker on your server. No data leaves your organization. Perfect for carbon credit verification and soil health monitoring.

What inspired me to build this? I realized that measuring soil carbon is expensive, slow, and requires field visits. Small farmers and researchers in developing countries can't afford it. I built VARIA Carbon to democratize soil carbon prediction. Anyone with satellite data (NDVI) and basic climate info can estimate Soil Organic Carbon in minutes, not months. The model is trained on real EU soil data (LUCAS 2018 + GSOCmap) and achieves R²=0.78. The live demo is completely free to test. The full code is available for a one-time $499 license. I'd love feedback from the Product Hunt community! Live demo: https://varia-carbon.streamlit.app/

Quick update: I'm the maker, but I wanted to add — if anyone has questions about the model or wants to see the technical validation (R²=0.78 on EU data), just comment here. Happy to share the whitepaper.
