To be honest, a few months ago, I was at rock bottom—no job, no savings, and facing a legal hurdle that made me realize just how broken the system is for the "average" person. I spent weeks jumping from one lawyer to another, getting conflicting advice and realized: if you don’t have a law degree or a massive bank account, you’re basically flying blind. New rules change daily, citations are buried in PDFs no one reads, and by the time you understand your rights, it’s often too late. I built Vakta AI because I believe legal clarity shouldn't be a luxury. I wanted to create a tool that gives you the power of a legal researcher before you even step foot in a law firm. Whether it's the latest citation or a brand-new regulation, Vakta is designed to bridge the gap between "legalese" and real life. What we’re solving: The Info Gap: Accessing real-time rules and citations that even some lawyers might have missed. The Door-to-Door Struggle: No more wasting time/money on initial consultations just to get basic facts. Empowerment: Giving normal people the data they need to stand their ground.
