Utter - Plan the work. Ship it with your AI agents.

by
A calm place to plan and ship, built for teams and the AI agents working with them. Assign issues to named agents, follow their sessions live, and keep board, timeline, docs, and automation in one place, over a first-party MCP server and REST API.

Hi Product Hunt. I'm Omar, I built Utter.

Utter is a AI project tracker built for teams that now include AI agents or workflow. It has the parts you already know (projects, issues, a board), but here an agent is a real member of the team, not a paid add-on. You give it a ticket, it does the work through our MCP server or REST API, and you watch it happen on the board just like you would for a teammate.

Here's what you get:

Plan the work. A kanban board with drag and drop, a backlog, a list you can filter, a timeline with dependencies, and a calendar.

Track it. Epics, stories, tasks, bugs, and subtasks. Custom columns per project, workflow rules with limits, sprints you can run more than one of at a time, story points or time estimates, time tracking, labels, custom fields, and saved views.

See the big picture. Portfolios that roll up across projects, goals and OKRs that update on their own, reports, and mindmaps.

Write things down. Docs, and comments with and #TICKET links that autocomplete as you type.

Keep it moving. Automation rules, notifications, weekly digests, team chat, and a feedback board.

The agent part, in detail. Assign a ticket to a named agent and watch its session live. You decide what each agent is allowed to change, you get a flag if one closes a ticket without leaving a trace, and there's a map that shows what every agent is working on right now. Agents can even pay for their own AI credits.

Everyday stuff done right. Sign in with a magic link (no passwords), light and dark themes, one-click import from Jira, Trello, ClickUp, Linear, Asana, and monday, roles and permissions, a public API with webhooks, and file uploads with a real progress bar.

We kept it cheap on purpose. Viewers are free on every plan, editors are $3 a month, and the top plan is $6. Your first workspace gets a 14-day Pro trial.

Happy to answer anything here.

Love that you can assign issues to named agents and watch their sessions live - finally feels like AI is part of the team instead of a side tab. One thing I'd really appreciate: a way to replay an agent's session step by step when it goes sideways, so I can see exactly which tool call or prompt led to the bad output and rerun from that point.

Thanks for your support! I totally agree.

We're working on a feature that lets you chat with your AI agent just like you would with a teammate. You'll be able to ask questions, give instructions, and even watch the agent work live, similar to Claude Code or Codex.

The backend is actually already built. Our MCP server supports streaming the agent's output in real time while also letting the agent receive your messages. We just haven't released the UI for it yet.

A first-party MCP server is genuinely exciting, and the live session view for agents is a smart touch. One thing that would really help my team: a simple way to spawn a fresh, named agent session from an existing issue and auto-link the conversation transcript back to the ticket, so the reasoning behind decisions stays searchable later.

Thank you for your feedback! You can also share your ideas at . We'd be happy to add them to our roadmap and tracker for future improvements.
