upstageX - Run creator deals with contracts & escrow built in

We're the team behind upstageX. This started with a problem we kept seeing on both sides of every creator deal in India. Brands would pay upfront and hope the content showed up. Creators would deliver the work and then chase payment for 60–90 days — usually over a WhatsApp thread, with no contract, no clear scope, and no idea if they'd ever actually get paid. The whole thing ran on trust that nobody had a real reason to give. So we built upstageX around one simple rule: no payment without a contract, and no release without approved work. You discover creators, auto-generate a structured contract, fund the deal into escrow (in ₹), and the money releases automatically as each milestone is approved. The creator can see the budget is funded before they start; the brand only pays for work it accepts. It handles both influencer campaigns and brand-owned UGC, and stageX (our AI) drafts the brief and matches creators so you're not starting from a blank page. The biggest shift while building: we realised discovery isn't the hard part — every tool can show you creators. The hard part is everything after the shortlist — the contract, paying safely, tracking deliverables, keeping a clean record. So we put that workflow at the centre instead of bolting it on at the end.
