I built a subscription tracker that actually helps you cancel — not just watch money leave

by

I kept finding subscription trackers that show you a list of what you're paying, and that's it. Cool, now I know I'm wasting £48/month. But then what?

So I built Unsub. It tracks your subscriptions like the others, but it also includes step-by-step cancel guides for 30+ services. Netflix, Spotify, Adobe, Amazon Prime — each one walks you through exactly how to cancel, because every service buries the cancel button somewhere different.

A few decisions I made that go against the grain:

No bank linking. Ever. Most popular trackers want access to your bank account. I didn't want to build something I wouldn't trust myself. Everything stays on your device.

One-time payment. Charging a monthly subscription to track subscriptions felt wrong. Unsub is free for up to 4 subs, then £3.99 once for unlimited. That's it forever.

Built solo. I'm a solo dev from Wales with no Mac, no iPhone, building an iOS app entirely through cloud builds. The whole thing was built with Claude Code and EAS.

Launching on Product Hunt this Saturday. Would genuinely love feedback — especially on what cancel guides to add next or features that would make you switch from whatever you're using now.
