Hey Product Hunt! š
I'm CJ, and Lynote is my first product I've ever launched publicly so today is a big day for me.
The idea came from a problem I kept running into myself. I watch a lot of YouTube to learn tutorials, lectures, talks but I'd always finish a video and feel like the knowledge just slipped away. I'd rewatch sections, pause to scribble notes, and still struggle to remember what actually mattered. It was frustrating because the content was good, the process of capturing it just wasn't.
So I built Lynote. Paste a YouTube link, get a structured study note back summary, key takeaways, action items, flashcards, and a clean transcript. The kind of notes I always wished someone had made for me.
Building this solo has been one of the most challenging and rewarding things I've done. Every bug, every design decision, every late night debugging session it was all me. There were moments I doubted whether it was worth shipping. I'm really glad I pushed through.
If you're a student, a self-learner, or anyone who watches YouTube to grow I built this for you. It's free to try, no account needed, 10 notes a day on the free tier.
I'd love to hear what you think. Feedback, feature ideas, brutal honesty ā all welcome. This is just the beginning and your input will directly shape where Lynote goes next. š
