Chemical inventory software that keeps people safe

by

I didn’t realize how broken chemical inventory systems were until I worked with them to keep people safe.

Here’s what I kept seeing at real facilities owned by billion-dollar corporations:

In manufacturing business are required to keep chemical inventories but it's always more of a check list to avoid fines, and more often than not they're usually not even right because they offer little to no utility. And that's why Haz Com is the second most cited OSHA standards racking up millions in fines.

Rarely can you go out in a production or manufacturing environment and the people at risk working with these materials can tell you what they're actually working with and how they know they're safe.

As someone who cares about worker safety and trying to entice business to better keep track of their chemical inventory with safety data to boot, we built Samplify IH. Samplify IH allows business to easily keep track of chemical inventories using our own personal database with 300K+ unique CAS identifiers inside. Each item in an inventory creates a risk assessment specific to how our users are actually using these materials. Our platform not only incentivizes stronger and more accurate chemical inventories because it's easy to use and will help this business avoid hefty fines, but it also keeps the people working with these materials safe before they go to retire and learn of a chronic disease they acquired from work that could have been avoided.

We’re launching on Product Hunt soon.

If you work in EHS, industrial hygiene, big pharma, or chemical safety, I’d love your brutally honest thoughts before we go live.

What’s the biggest failure you’ve seen in chemical inventory systems or your drug inventory lists?
