After a year of building, is it time to simplify the web?

by

Hi everyone, I’m Yaniv.

I’ve spent the last year working on a project to solve a simple problem: modern web development has become too complicated.

I built Sigment for the developers who miss the simplicity of pure JavaScript but still need to build powerful, modern apps.

The goal was simple:

  • No JSX or "Magic" syntax: Just pure, clean JavaScript and HTML.

  • Fast & Light: An "Islands" architecture that only loads what is needed.

  • Flexible: It works as a fast website with HTML-first architecture or a full-power app (SPA).

I'm launching officially tomorrow, but I'd love to chat with you tonight:

Are you tired of fighting with heavy frameworks just to build a clean app?

I'm curious to hear your thoughts on getting back to a "lighter" web!
