A Universal Python Automation Framework (UI + API + AI-Ready)

I recently built a Universal Python Test Automation Framework that brings together:

• Playwright-based UI automation
• Async API testing
• BDD workflows with pytest-bdd
• AI-assisted test creation
• A clean, scalable folder structure

My focus was on solving recurring automation challenges:

✔ Simplifying MODE/ENV switching
✔ Making tests easier to maintain
✔ Supporting both UI + API cleanly
✔ Enabling AI tools to help engineers

This work helped me explore how AI can support automation by speeding up development, improving consistency, and reducing troubleshooting time.
