Perfect case for when you need to leave you MacBook while using the restroom at the cafe.
would you do that? I love those cases but Id be too scared to chance it down here in Sydney (ex convict town lol)
not recommended here in Brazil. Don't leave behind even a book or you'll lose it =(
but then I will have lost BOTH my macbook AND the $80 case!
I've had one for years, and love it. But I can confirm it does not make you feel safe leaving it during a cafe restroom break.
Just saw this tweet: Anybody else experienced these overheating problems?
2 years using it with my MacBook Pro, never had an issue with that.
Nope, haven't after 2 years (and that email isn't saying normal use does either, it's saying something about "locking in place")
Guess the MacBook Pro will get pretty hot in there?
It was ok for mine, it's as good as any other hard case on this point.
Cool I just think it look at bit "flip flopsy" and grandma style.
Interesting combination ! ;)
I've had mine for a couple years and it doesn't significantly effect the heat. The air can still escape in front of the hinge (as opposed to normal: both in front and behind). Once or twice I've taken it out of the case when I do something really intensive, like compress a long video
Got one for 2 years. pretty cool. but honestly i rarely use it because would take too much room in a backpack
HUGE fan of this product. Worth every penny. Love it to bits. Best part is taking it through security at airports :-P
I've had mine for 2 years. Still as good as new and so classy ...
Been a big fan and user of the book book for years! Hopefully they've put a little more effort into durability. The phone case tends to fall apart after months of being shoved in and out of pockets.
Would think twice before going into a library with it 😰
I would use something like this when I leave my mac at home, as an extra precaution just in case. Of course I wouldn't let it sit on a table in cafe. Especially since the zipper is clearly visible.
Have you created one for PCs yet? :)
