Can we trust the headlines, or should we be following the evidence?
Hey everyone! I’m Mark, the founder of TruthTrace.
I built TruthTrace because I got tired of trying to figure out what’s actually true when every headline seems to tell a different story.
Instead of just asking AI for an answer, I wanted something that investigates claims, follows the sources, and shows you where the evidence is strong, where it’s disputed, and where it simply runs out.
We also just introduced Compare the Coverage, which lets you see how different news outlets report the same event, what they agree on, and what each one emphasizes.
We’re launching October 22, and I’d genuinely love your thoughts.
Here’s my question: When you see a news story that doesn’t quite add up, how do you figure out what’s actually true?
Do you check multiple outlets, dig into original sources, use AI, or just move on?
I’d love to hear how other people approach this. We’re building TruthTrace to make that process easier.
