This is a interesting idea, I work in SEO and work with clients that work in plastic surgery , and some spend millions a year on SEO so if I tell them to purchase a keyword for "plastic surgery los angeles " and they purchase for $1000 I get $500 referral fee?
leo jeremias
@nonstop_rubel yes we have an affiliate program that tracks offers made in real time, so if you send your special link to friend or family then yes you will see the offer immediately in real time if they used your aff link, if we accept the offer you will be notified as well in real time. The 50% commission is for the first keyword only, after that is goes down to 30% , if you are an SEO co and have lots of clients and think you can move lots of keywords then we are willing to set your aff account rate at the first level for all keywords.

I checked out the extension on webstore, very nice work .... if I select a keyword specific like "moving company newark new jersey" are those keywords less expensive then keywords that are general without city/state???
leo jeremias
@smith_hope Thanks for kind words ...to answer your question , yes generally city specific keywords will be cheaper than nationwide, however we are not setting a price, we are accepting offers so obviously we would only accept higher offers for a keyword that is general to the entire state.

I’m interested in this but asking users for credit card details at this super early stage is insane. I would happily tell you how much I’m willing to pay for a keyword and let you get back to me on that, but not a chance am I giving you my card details on the very first page of your site that I visit.

@mickc79 Hi Mick I can definitely appreciate that, please send us your offers to trisdotcom@gmail.com We added the CC because many were bypassing the contractual obligation of an offer, by selecting Bitcoin and making offers. This takes the keyword off the market from others and if they don't pay others lose the ability to buy that keyword while we are waiting for transaction ...so we asked for CC for validation purposes. We use Stripe and everything is secure, but we can definitely accept offers via email and payments can be made by wire or any payment methods.

@gmail @leoj why don’t you have a tris.com email address? Sorry but everything about this seems off to me. I’m out.
Justin Mitchell
@gmail @leoj @mickc79 100% agree. Not to accuse of something sketch, but as a feedback point. These are things you need to do/fix to increase trust with new customers. Not having an email at the company domain is a huge red flag for me.
leo jeremias
@gmail @leoj @mickc79 @itsthisjustin you can email info@tris.com or hello@tris.com but we use one gmail that the entire team has access to, so others can respond24 hours a day in shifts around the world ,I dont understand these jumping to conclusions and immediate negative assumptions, if you have a question, then ask, most cases there is a simple reason for everything. We also have some integrations with gmail and certain google apps that we use for our platform that makes it easier.
Justin Mitchell
@gmail @leoj @mickc79 @tris @leojeremias that's the thing though...if you're not smart and savvy enough to know that Google Apps exists and would give you the same functionality with a branded domain, then why would I trust you with my credit card info? Or similarly you know it exists but you don't want to pay for it. What else aren't you paying for? Good security on your site? A staff you can trust, it goes on and on. Building trust is such a massive part of starting a business. If you're not investing in your business, then why should I?

Can you explain what is SXSW and how this has effects the keywords?
leo jeremias
@ryanmcdonnell1 we received over 500 offer for keywords when we were featured on Product Hunt a year ago, but we could not ethically accept any money without providing real guaranteed value to keyword holders, we think at a minimum a million users is what it would take for the platform to have real value and traffic and that was our benchmark. We also did not want to have 1000 people daily asking us when we are live, when will they see traffic? We wanted one large investor instead of hundreds of little ones, so we continued to focus on the platform investing our own money as we are mostly self funded. With SXSW everything changes. SXSW finalists have raised 5.5 billion to date, 71% have received funding, we finally see a path forward to a million users as we estimate we would need a million dollars to reach one million users based on all the test campaigns we have done. In fact it would take even less money but we would need more staff to support it. With the SWSW in a month, we wanted to increase our odds of raising money, so this short term IKO can drive more revenue and we can stand up and show searches, traffic, traction , two apps, and REVENUE, this will increase our chances of raising money hopefully over 95%. So our plan now is only sell a few good keywords enough to make a statement.

OMG I love the idea of selling to real estate agents that is unbelievable , i just joined the partner program and got a link to send to my brother in law who is in real estate to get the referral fee and hes buying a few areas however on the website it says 50% then 30% commission but in the agreement it does not say an amount ??
Angus Corbin
I have a few questions...how many people have purchased keywords? what happens if two people want the same keyword? is it first come first serve? can we resell keywords? and do I get anything I can prove this is mine?
leo jeremias
@anguscorbin 1- please see above 2- right now it is first come first serve, if for some reason before we accept any offer two people bid we will create a private auction between the two offers 3- absolutely, in fact we hope one day to create a platform that you can also sell clicks if this becomes really popular so you would be like Google 4- you get a certificate, and you a contract signed with the keyword you purchased on it.

great idea , very interesting ...basically a investment but unlike coins or ico you actually get something of value also its not just an idea as you have already users searches android and ios you have traffic you have traction its also a gamble cause whats if you don,t get a million users to download ? but for a couple of thousand I think its worth it if you spend lots on ad-words or have a website its like buying domains !
Jake Copeley
Love the concept - I installed your extension it is absolutely insane i could literally think of hundreds of ideas and it can disrupt literally every single industry out there, its crazy, why havent I heard of you? and why isnt there more conversations in the rooms? every room I went into on extension was kind of dead , I also was able to track searches directly in google with the widget, why arent you promoting that ? why not just focus on the desktop?
leo jeremias
@jakecopeley Thanks for your comment...The issue with the extension was we needed so many users to be live at the same time, so we created the app and the browser so you can get a notification of messages left and respond at your own leisure, but the issue of empty rooms gets resolved with lots of users which gets resolved with funding which hopefully will soon be resolved. As far as the search widget once you install the extension just go to Google and search from Desktop its quite fun to see what others are searching.

In the Real Estate ex. you mention that keyword will be purchased per city including all zip codes in area , is that for all keywords ? what about other practices? like law?
leo jeremias
@justinnevile Hi that is a good question, we are working on different industries but it will be based on demand
