What inspired TripTips? I kept watching rideshare drivers, promoters, and everyday people send business to restaurants, nightclubs, and dispensaries — with nothing to show for it. Word-of-mouth was driving real revenue, but the people doing the recommending never got paid. The problem I set out to solve: Businesses waste money on ads that can't be tracked. Customers refer friends constantly and earn nothing. There was no infrastructure connecting the two — until now. TripTips is that infrastructure: dynamic QR codes that track every referral, trigger a cash tip when a customer redeems, and pay instantly to a wallet. How my approach evolved: I started thinking about this as a tipping app. It became something bigger — a performance-based referral marketplace with zero upfront cost for businesses. Every iteration pushed toward one principle: nobody pays unless it works. That shaped everything from our pricing model to how we recruit drivers and influencers.
