I'm Mustafa - a developer and a father who nearly ruined a family trip because I didn’t realise my daughter’s passport had only 7 months left.
That moment is what led to this app.
Everything I tried before - cloud drives, camera roll, password managers - needed multiple tools to do what should be one simple job. And none of them understood that a passport actually expires.
So I built Travel Document Vault.
The goal was simple: a place to store travel documents and get reminders before they expire.
Key principles behind the app:
• Everything is stored on your device
• No accounts and no cloud storage
• Works completely offline
• Expiry reminders months in advance
• Designed for families and frequent travellers
It’s now live on both iOS and Android.
No VC funding, no team - just something I originally built for my own family.
