Translix - Real-time screen translation overlay for macOS
byβ’
Translo eliminates on-screen translation friction.
Instead of copying and switching apps, just drag to select any area. On-device OCR continuously recognizes and overlays translations in real time β right on top of the original text, without ever leaving your current window.
Supports 15 languages, multiple engines, global shortcuts, and persistent live monitoring.

Hi PH! I am the creator of Translo.
I created Translo because I was tired of losing fluency every time I had to translate something on the screen.
As someone who watches foreign videos, reads PDF files, and plays Japanese games, the screenshot translation of other translation apps makes it difficult for me to concentrate. I want to immerse myself in it - reading and understanding without switching windows.
Its working principle is as follows:
1. Drag to select any screen area
2. The translation appears in a semi transparent overlay on top of the original text
3. Alternatively, enable the mouse follow function - text near the cursor will be translated immediately as you move
Main highlights:
β . Zero Interruption - Translate without leaving the current application
β . OCR on devices - Text will never leave your Mac
β . Real time area monitoring - automatic detection of new text
β . Mouse following translation
β . Multi engine: Apple, Youdao, Google, offline local LLM
β . 15 translation languages, 8 interface languages
β . Global Shortcut
This application can be used for a free 7-day trial of all features. The Apple engine and Youdao engine can always be used for free. Other advanced features require unlocking subscriptions or lifetime authorization.

I really like your feedback:
1. Will you still use it for other usage scenarios
Thank you for checking - I will reply to every comment here all day.
Congratulations on your launch - good luck with it! This is such a good idea and will be so useful for language learning. (I may be doing something wrong, but the App Store isnβt accepting that discount code.)
@cronberryΒ Wait a moment for me to research. This is also my first time posting a discount code, and from my backend, this code should be correct. I will switch to a clean app account to check.
@cronberryΒ I found a way, go to this Apple URL: https://apps.apple.com/redeem/?code=ASD1FIJ12139D&ctx=offercodes&id=6761548322
@fallbortxieΒ That worked - thank you! Looking forward to putting Translo through its paces.
@cronberryΒ Thank you for your recognition
Some people may not know how to use discount codes, but known ones can be used through this Apple specific URL: https://apps.apple.com/redeem/?code=ASD1FIJ12139D&ctx=offercodes&id=6761548322
