Why do most AI stock tools focus on predictions instead of explanations?

I’ve been exploring AI tools for stock analysis and noticed that most focus on predictions or buy/sell signals.

But in markets where uncertainty is high, I personally find reasoning more useful than predictions.

For example:
• What factors support a setup
• What contradicts it
• What risks exist
• What would invalidate the thesis

Curious how others think about this.
