We built TRAAVO because Indian travel apps give up too easily — here's what we did differently
Hey PH community 👋
Quick question before I start — have you ever been stranded because every direct train was waitlisted and flights were 4x the price?
That's exactly why we built TRAAVO.
The moment that broke us 🚨
Festival season. Delhi → Varanasi. Every train waitlisted. Buses charging 4x. No structured alternative anywhere. Every app just said "No results found" and gave up.
Nobody told us:
A station 30 km away had seats
Someone's seat empties at Kanpur — we could board till there, then take that seat forward
A government bus + short train hop could get us there cheaper and faster
That information existed. No platform was connecting it.
So we built the missing layer 🧠
TRAAVO is a Travel Resilience Intelligence Platform — not a booking app, but a route fallback engine that combines trains + government buses when direct options fail.
Here's what makes it different:
🔀 Multifallback Routes — Up to 4-segment combinations so no journey hits a dead end
🪑 Seat Chain Intelligence — Finds seats that free up mid-route so you can hop in
📍 Nearby Station Suggestions — Tickets unavailable at your station? We find one 20-40 km away that has availability
🚌 Government Bus Integration — Real departure schedules for tier-2/tier-3 towns, not just premium private operators
Who is this for?
🧑🎓 Students rushing for exams
👨👩👧 Families stuck during festival rush
🏥 Anyone facing a medical or family emergency
💼 Business travelers with zero flexibility
🎒 Budget travelers who refuse to overpay
Our core belief 💡
Booking platforms are built to sell tickets. TRAAVO is built to get you there.
When the system says no — we find a way.
