Tori connects buyers who want items that aren't sold where they live with travelers already heading there. Request it with a link and budget, a traveler brings it back, and funds are released once you both confirm. Travelers set their fee and keep 100% of it.

Hi Product Hunt, I'm David. We're a small team that built Tori.
The problem is one most of us have run into. You move cities or countries, or you just fall for something on a trip, and then you can't get it at home. The snack from Tokyo. The sunscreen from Seoul. The fabric, the sneakers, the book that was never released where you live. Your options are a forwarding service that charges a lot for a small box, a retailer that doesn't ship to you, or a friend you text every time they fly. The friend is the best option, and it only works if you have the friend.
Tori makes that friend findable. Someone is already flying from where the thing is sold to where you are. They have room in their bag. You'd happily pay them for the favor. The hard part is trust between two strangers, so that is what we spent most of our time on.
How it works, in four steps:
1. Travelers post a trip: where they're going, roughly when, and how many orders they can carry.
2. Buyers browse upcoming trips and request an item with a link, a budget and what they'll pay the traveler. You can say "I already bought it, please pick it up" or "buy it for me".
3. The traveler accepts and the buyer pays in the app. Your payment is collected securely. Funds are released to the traveler once both parties confirm completion, or the transaction is resolved through Tori's dispute process.
4. The traveler buys or collects the item, brings it back or ships it with tracking, and you both confirm. Then the traveler is paid.
Along the way you get in-app chat with contact details masked, order tracking from requested to completed, receipts, tips, and a report and dispute flow if something goes wrong. Sign-in is an emailed code or Face ID, no password to leak.
On money: buyers pay 12% of the order subtotal processed through Tori, minimum $9.99, and they see it before checkout. Travelers set their own fee and keep 100% of it, plus 100% of tips. We take 0% from the traveler side. Shipping at checkout is an estimate, not a carrier quote, and the buyer approves any difference.
What we're not: a seller, a carrier or a shipping service. Travelers are independent people doing a favor for a fee. Customs and duties are between the two parties under our Terms, and you need to be 18 or older.
What we'd love from you:
- Honest feedback on the flow, especially the request and checkout screens.
- Which cities and which items you wish you could get. That list decides where we recruit travelers first.
- If you fly regularly, post a trip. Even one accepted request pays for a dinner.
- Connections to any and everyone you think would be beneficial.
