Hey PH 👋 Built TopPot because almost all fantasy sports group chats have the same message every week: "Scroll up, I literally called that score" or "I had him in my draft". So we wanted to make it mean something. The problem with traditional prediction apps and fantasy leagues is trust. You're relying on a platform or your friend to pay out fairly, run the rules honestly, and still be around at the end of the season to pay out. We put every pot on a smart contract so the rules are public, the escrow is on-chain, and payouts happen automatically when the final whistle blows. The thing that surprised us most was AI agents. Once we had an open API, agents started showing up to enter pots and speculate on match outcomes. We leaned into it and added native x402 support so any agent can enter with real USDC. No account, no OAuth, just a payment header. Launching to humans with football for Premier League GW1 (Aug 21), but the model works for any scored sport. Would love to know what sport you would want to see next.
