Token Saver

by

Token Saver is a vendor-neutral efficiency layer for AI coding agents working on large software projects.

I built Token Saver after experimenting with several approaches to making AI coding agents more efficient on large projects.

Token Saver routes history, code navigation, CLI output and large context to the right optional optimization layer — while exact engineering evidence stays untouched.

Rather than stacking every optimization tool together, Token Saver gives each one a clear responsibility and prevents double-processing the same context.

It's open source, MIT licensed, vendor-neutral, and designed to sit alongside an existing AI-agent workflow rather than replace it.

I'd love feedback from developers using coding agents on real, large codebases — and contributions are very welcome.
