We built tiun because launching an AI product should not require five tools and a webhook nightmare

Hey everyone,

We have been building : one backend for authentication, payments, customer data, and analytics.

The idea came from a simple frustration. AI made it dramatically easier to build software. But the moment you want real users and real revenue, the old complexity comes back.

You add one tool for auth, another for payments, another for subscription, another for analytics. Then a database, transactional emails, invoices, tax compliance, and a pile of webhooks trying to keep everything in sync. Your AI agent can build a feature in a couple of minutes. And then spend the next three days figuring out why the cancelled subscription in your payment provider is still marked as active in your database. That felt backwards.

The basic idea behind tiun is simple:

Your business infrastructure should work as one system from day one. With , authentication, payments, subscriptions, usage-based billing, customer records, invoices, transactional emails, and product analytics share the same data model.

No stitching five dashboards together, no maintaining custom sync logic, no wondering which tool has the correct version of the customer.

tiun also acts as the Merchant of Record. That means we handle payments, VAT and sales tax, compliant invoices, chargebacks, and the legal responsibility around selling globally. You receive the payout and keep working on the product.

What it does now:

-authentication flows
-one-time and subscription payments
-usage-based and time-based billing
-Merchant of Record
-customer database
-self-service customer portal
-transactional emails and invoices
-session and event tracking
-AI-native analytics

We are not trying to become another giant no-code platform that owns your entire application. tiun is a headless backend. You keep building your product with your preferred stack, while tiun handles the infrastructure around users, monetization, and customer data.

You can integrate it through our SDK, MCP server, or GitHub Skill and let your coding agent handle much of the setup.

Why I think this matters:

The 100x developer is becoming real. One founder can now build what used to require an entire product team. But that founder should not need another team just to operate auth, billing, tax, and customer infrastructure.

Would love feedback from indie hackers, AI builders, and small SaaS teams currently stitching this stack together manually.

What part of your backend do you hate maintaining the most?

Also, yes, “just add Stripe” is rarely just Stripe.
