TimeLock began with a simple frustration: I kept forgetting to use productivity tools. I tried dozens of apps, but every system failed for the same reason — too much friction. You have to unlock your phone, open the app, remember to start a timer, check todos… and when life gets busy, you stop doing all of that. I wanted a tool that fit into real life, not one that demanded perfect habits.
So I built TimeLock — a lockscreen-first time tracker designed to remove every step between intention and action. You open your phone, and your tools are right there. No friction, no excuses. Over time, it became clear that tracking alone isn’t enough. People want meaning, guidance, and insight. That’s why TimeLock 2.0 brings AI: a Day Planner that creates realistic schedules based on your life, and a Chat Assistant that helps you understand your data and build better habits.
What started as a personal fix for my own inconsistency is now a tool built to help anyone live more mindfully, one day at a time.
