Tide Charts is exactly what coastal adventurers need. The combination of global tide predictions, lunar data, weather & radar in one app—even offline—is incredibly well thought out. I can’t wait to test it out during my next surf or fishing trip. Great job to the team for building something that works even off the grid.

What stands out to me is how Tide Charts supports offline mode while still offering accurate tide and lunar predictions globally. The station map & favorites feature is smart—you can bookmark your usual spots. If you layer in alert customization (high tide, low tide) or predictive trends, this will be a must-have for many.

From a UX perspective, giving users both a map of nearby stations and the ability to bookmark favorites is brilliant. The visual presentation of tide graphs, moon phases, and weather forecasts needs to be clean and intuitive. If transitions between map, forecast, and detail views are smooth, it’ll feel like a polished, trustworthy tool.

Congratulations on launching Tide Charts! In a space full of fragmented apps, your all-in-one coastal tool is refreshing. Many people will find this useful—surfers, sailors, anglers, coastal photographers. I hope you get feedback from users in remote coastlines to refine offline data coverage.

Great product! A few ideas:

Push or local alerts (e.g. high tide in 30 mins)

Tidal stream / current predictions (for boating)

Custom refresh intervals or data caching for specific stations

Integration with calendar (mark best times for activity)

Even without all, this is an excellent foundation.

Hey Tide Charts team — love the vision behind this. Building a coastal companion that works offline is no small feat. I’ll be testing how accurate the predictions hold in remote coasts, how well the map displays stations, and how intuitive the bookmark/alerting flows are. Keep refining and iterating — this can become an essential for many outdoor lovers.

When I plan beach trips or fishing outings, I often worry if the tides will mess up my timing. With Tide Charts giving me reliable forecasts, lunar phases, and weather all in one view—even when I’m out of signal—this feels like a huge relief. I’m excited to have a single tool for that.

Global tide + lunar + weather + station mapping + offline mode. Tide Charts keeps it focused and powerful. If the app is fast, reliable, and data is accurate, this is a tool I’ll rely on.
