Hey Product Hunt — I built ThreddIQ because too many founders, including me, start with a solution and then struggle to find a problem worth paying for.
Reddit is full of people describing broken workflows, expensive tools they want to replace, manual tasks they hate, and software they would gladly pay for. The problem is that this feedback is scattered across thousands of threads, buried in comments, and difficult to turn into a usable product brief.
ThreddIQ turns that noise into structured SaaS opportunities.
You choose a niche, keyword, subreddit, or competitor. ThreddIQ then helps surface:
- Repeated customer complaints and workflow friction
- Explicit willingness-to-pay and budget signals
- Competitor churn reasons and feature gaps
- Related conversations grouped into themes
- Direct links back to the original Reddit discussions
- Opportunity scores to help prioritize which pain is worth investigating
For example, instead of seeing one vague complaint about Stripe, you could identify a repeated pattern: teams spending hours reconciling enterprise contracts with Stripe Billing, describing their workaround, naming the missing capability, and sometimes stating what they would pay to fix it.
The goal is not to tell you "build this." The goal is to help you find better questions, faster:
- Is this problem repeated?
- Who has it?
- How painful is it?
- Are they already paying for alternatives?
- Can I contact or study the original discussions before I build?
The free tier includes two community scans per month, with no credit card required. Paid plans add more scans, clustering, opportunity scoring, deeper thread analysis, and exports.
For the Product Hunt community, I'd especially value feedback on:
- Which part of validation feels most time-consuming today?
- Would you rather start from a subreddit, a competitor, or a product idea?
- What would make an opportunity report useful enough to change what you build next?
Thanks for checking out ThreddIQ.
