Securing a company's external perimeter usually means juggling 5 different tools: one for attack surface monitoring, one for DMARC, another for SSL/DNS tracking, plus paying thousands of dollars for a static, point-in-time manual penetration test. I was frustrated by how fragmented, slow, and expensive this process was. Enterprise-grade cybersecurity shouldn't be a luxury reserved only for massive corporations. The Evolution We initially started ThreatPort as a simple Attack Surface Monitoring tool. But as we listened to the market, we realized that just "monitoring" wasn't enough. Teams needed actionable validation and remediation. So, we evolved the platform into a completely autonomous, proactive security engine. What ThreatPort does today: 🛡️ Continuous EASM: Automatically maps out subdomains, analyzes open ports, checks SSL/DNS health, and alerts you of credential leaks. 🤖 Autonomous AI Pentester: Uses an integrated LLM (Llama 3.3) and Nuclei to run non-destructive web vulnerability scans (SQLi, XSS, SSRF, CORS, etc.) and generates board-ready compliance reports. 🕵️ Real-time Threat Intel: Deep tech-stack fingerprinting that correlates directly with NVD, Vulners, and CISA KEV feeds. 🎣 Brand Protection: Detects typosquatting domains and executes automated abuse/takedown reports to hosting providers. Our Goal: To give startups, CTOs, and security teams a single "Swiss Army Knife" platform that handles all their external security needs automatically, 24/7.
