A Product Hunt Comment Became My Next Feature

One Product Hunt comment turned into a new feature.

@yavuzwrpt suggested adding a CSV export option to Outbreak Tracker so users could download the data instead of only viewing it online.

It made perfect sense, so I built it.

July 2026 Updates

It has been 2 months since I launched Outbreak Tracker! Here are a few updates and what's planned for August:

  • We recently passed 600+ active users.

  • The platform now tracks 10+ diseases with continuous live updates.

  • Outbreak Tracker was featured in KrispiTech Journal.

  • Coming soon (based on your feedback):

    • CSV data export

    • Email notifications

Is there anything else you'd like to see? I really appreciate every piece of feedback, suggestion, and idea. It has helped shape the platform so far.

Threat Surveillance - A minimalist, ad-free global virus and outbreak dashboard.

While official public health portals are often slow, fragmented, or buried inside heavy PDFs, Outbreak Tracker provides a zero-bloat, live monitoring utility for global pathogen data. Engineered to load instantly on low-bandwidth networks, it aggregates raw chronological metrics and transmission paths for ongoing spikes like Cyclospora and Ebola. It is completely ad-free, respects user privacy, and prioritizes pure, accessible data layout over editorial noise.
