👋 Hi there, PH community! Some time has passed since the release of SaaS Boilerplate. However, we didn’t spend it idly! Our team has been working hard over the past few months, and today we're releasing a long-awaited update. ❓ Why did we decide to update SaaS Boilerplate? It’s relatively straightforward – we would like to constantly introduce new changes, fixes and improvements so that SaaS Boilerplate meets the most diverse needs of users from various industries – including You! An update is also an excellent opportunity to increase compatibility or even add support for new products or services. Which, in the case of SaaS, happens almost constantly ❓ What’s this update about? Our development team for this tool has prepared an update that fixes the detected bugs, adds missing features, and improves overall security and stability. This update provides bug fixes and critical security updates, including the following: - Update backend and webapp dependencies - Rewrite application API to GraphQL - Rewrite contentful queries to relay and remove apollo from the project - Allow HTTPS in API docs - Allow boilerplate deployment without Hosted Zone (with externally managed DNS) - Add a simple monitoring dashboard - Adjust documentation - Added the 'make aws-login' command ❓ What are our next steps? We're not stopping at this update. Our team continues to work on developing SaaS Boilerplate – primarily preparing for the implementation of additional features, resolving reported bugs, improving performance and patching any security issues.
