The Legal Hans - Navigate German Law for Expats with Our AI Co-Pilot

Hi guys, I am super excited to launch my second product ever. What motivated me this time was the daily difficulties faced by many of my friends and my partner who live in Germany as expats. They find it difficult because they don't speak fluent German and don't fully understand the country's culture and laws. Even though I'm German and studied civil and business law for a few semesters, I still find it challenging to deal with the tasks involved in starting or managing life in Germany, like applying for an apartment or figuring out the purpose of the "Rundfunkbeitrag." Sometimes, it can feel a bit overwhelming. That's when I decided to further refine my skills in developing AI assistants. I aimed to create a sophisticated assistant capable of providing in-depth guidance (without bearing liability) tailored to specific scenarios and considerate of cultural context. This is achieved by harnessing information from legal documents such as the BGB (Civil Code), HGB (Commercial Code), StGB (Criminal Code), and SGB (Social Security Code), among others.
