I built this after watching the same problem play out across four multi billion dollar businesses I scaled as President/COO. The founder is talented, the investors are supportive, the product works. But the operating layer never gets built because there's no time and no budget for a full-time hire. Board packs get done at midnight. Investor updates go out late or not at all. Hiring runs on gut feel. Planning happens in a flurry before Christmas and gets forgotten by February. The Engine is what I wished existed when I was in those businesses.
