TextSniper - Capture any text from your Mac's screen

by
TextSniper is a super useful app to quickly capture unselectable text. Use it to capture and recognize text from presentations, trainings, screencasts, images, pictures, webpages, video tutorials, photos, PDFs etc.

What’s the main use?

@twmargot Textsniper allows quickly convert uncopiable or unselectable text from any content visible on your mac's screen into editable text copied to your clipboard. For example when you're watching some video tutorial, you can easily capture any useful information in this video without retyping.

Discovered this super-nifty utility shared on Reddit. Purchased it for $5 (launch promo on their website). Hope the developers keep supporting it.

Very interesting! @valerijs_boguckis. How did you come up with the idea? And how are you identifying text via screenshots? Best of luck!

@rish154 Good question. Ones I was watching dev conference on YouTube, presenter shared some GitHub repository link to the viewers. The link was on the screen. So I had to pause the video and type it manually into the browser. You know, it takes a lot of time and could have some typos. Then I thought how cool it would be if I could just select some area on the screen with text and convert it to the editable text copied to clipboard That how I started to develop TextSniper.
