Hey Product Hunt! Sebastian here, founder of Tête-à-Tête. I built this because I was tired of the same pattern. You match with someone, spend a week in a chat going nowhere, and by the time you actually meet the energy is gone. So we removed the chat entirely. On Tête-à-Tête you create your own experience. Could be a coffee, a rooftop, a museum and you get requests from users who align with the same thing. The first impression happens in person. Where it always has. A lot of people told us this was crazy. That removing chat would kill the app. But our beta numbers told a different story. 51% proposal-to-date conversion. 85% show-up rate. Real people, real venues, real dates. We built this with 3 people, zero funding, and a stubborn belief that human connection is worth protecting. We don't want AI telling our users who they might like, what they might say, or how they might feel about someone before they've even met. We decided to go back to the basics.
