Keeping AI coding work connected: solo projects and engineering workbenches

As Termexo’s maintainer, I am focusing on a practical problem: several agents can be working while the developer is still finding terminals, checking who needs approval and reconstructing task context.

For individual developers, Termexo groups real terminals by project, surfaces agent status, organizes tasks and helps resume supported native sessions. Handoff packages can carry a reviewed summary of progress and next steps.

For engineers within a team, the current fit is managing their own project workbench and model/account/network profiles. People still define task boundaries, check results and use the team’s existing review and merge process. Shared workspaces, fine-grained permissions, centralized audit and fuller automatic orchestration remain planned.

Remote access lets a phone or another computer reconnect to the running Windows workbench. Cross-network access can use a reachable self-hosted HTTPS relay; the desktop must stay on and connected. Agent processes remain on that host.

Termexo is MIT-licensed. Agent CLIs and model services require their own setup. Local-first does not mean model requests never leave the computer; that depends on the agent and endpoint configuration.

Which part of this workflow would help you most: project organization, approval visibility, session handoffs, or access away from your desk?
