I wrote Teacher Tired because I know what it is like to want to find a new career, but have no idea what is out there. What makes this book unique is that it not only shares why they left but also gives insight into the new careers they found. There are so many different paths teachers have taken that most never even imagined. I am proud that so many former teachers were willing to share their journey and even more proud to highlight their new careers. My hope is that readers find encouragement in knowing change is possible, the are not alone…in the burnout, the love for their students, but the need to find a new career.
