Taskly - Taskly — Just send it.

Information is everywhere. Tasks shouldn’t be. An assignment. A deadline. A message. A PDF. A voice note. You receive it, then manually turn it into something you need to remember. Taskly makes that friction disappear. Just send the information. Taskly understands it, turns it into a task, and keeps everything organized in one place. No rewriting. No jumping between apps. No relying on memory. Taskly — Just send it.

Your tasks are hiding in screenshots, PDFs, and messages — I built Taskly to turn them into action Hey everyone 👋 A task usually doesn't arrive looking like a task. It arrives as a screenshot. A PDF. A voice note. A message. You read it. You understand it. You think you'll deal with it later. But then something else arrives. And suddenly the information you needed is buried between everything else. So you copy it. Rewrite it. Switch apps. Try to remember the deadline. And only then does it become an actual task. That little gap is what I wanted to solve. I built Taskly Taskly is an AI-powered task assistant designed to turn everyday information into actionable tasks. You can send it: - screenshots - photos - PDFs - voice notes - pasted text Taskly interprets the information and extracts actionable tasks, including details like deadlines and priorities. Then you review and edit what it understood before creating the task. The basic flow is: Send → Understand → Review → Create The idea is simple: don't make people rebuild a task from information they already have. Why I built it I kept thinking about where task management actually begins. Not inside a task manager. It starts when someone sends you something. A professor sends an assignment. Someone sends a document. You get a screenshot. A reminder comes through a voice note. The information already contains what needs to happen. The work is turning that information into something actionable. Taskly is my attempt to remove that extra step. The MVP This is an MVP, so I'm not pretending everything is perfect. The core thing I want to validate is whether this workflow genuinely feels easier: Send something → let AI understand it → review it → create the task. The interesting question for me isn't just: “Can AI extract a task?” It's: “Does this actually remove enough friction for someone to change how they manage tasks?” That's what I want to learn from this launch. I'd love honest feedback I'd especially like to hear from students, young professionals, and anyone who regularly receives information that later becomes a task: How do you currently turn messages, screenshots, PDFs, or voice notes into tasks? Would you trust AI to extract the task automatically? Would the review/edit step give you enough control? What kind of information would you most want to send to Taskly? And where would this workflow still feel annoying or unnecessary? Don't feel the need to be nice about it. If something is confusing, weak, unnecessary, or simply doesn't work, I'd rather know now while it's still an MVP. 🚀 Try Taskly: And one last question: What is the weirdest place you've ever received a task? Thanks for checking it out.
