Why TaskFlow bills the owner—and keeps the UI deliberately simple

Hey everyone I m the maker behind TaskFlow.

I built this for small crews (often 2 8 people) who want clear boards and lists without the noisy dashboards you get from everything for everyone tools. A lot of products in this space felt too busy for tiny teams: too many menus, chrome, and options you ll never touch on day one. I chased a purposefully simple UI instead.

On Stripe, I went owner-pays-once: when the project owner upgrades to Pro, teammates on that project get Pro features without per-seat billing. Free stays tight (limits on owned projects / members) so it s painless to try.

Rough motivation: affordable, readable UI, built for humans who shouldn t need a CFO or a clutter map just to run tasks.

TaskFlow - One subscription. Your whole team gets Pro features.

I wanted a tool that stayed this simple. TaskFlow: lightweight boards for small dev teams (2–8). Real-time Kanban, list, and tree—no bloat. One Pro subscription from the owner unlocks Pro for every invited member (unlimited projects & members, standup, feedback). No per-seat pricing. Free: 1 project, up to 3 members, unlimited tasks. Pro: $19/mo (Stripe). EN & JP UI. Next.js, Supabase, Stripe.
